Our Progress Continues 

It’s time for another Vissensa update and, whilst the days may be drawing in, we are certainly not slowing down! We have had a very busy last few months, filled with fundraising, events and partnerships that we are keen to share with you.

Our team continues to grow, just as the IT world continues to develop, and we will have all that information and more in this issue, to keep you abreast of all the goings on at Vissensa, and beyond!

Our Swings & Smiles Challenge

As we mentioned in our last newsletter, The Vissensa Team challenged itself to cover the distance from the Swings & Smiles HQ in Berkshire all the way to Dusseldorf, Germany – a distance of 415 miles covered by walking, running, cycling & swimming.

The aim? To raise £500 for the Swings & Smiles Escalator project. If successful, the escalator project would enable all funds raised to be quadrupled by the Greenham Trust. Swings & Smiles is a fantastic charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for children with disabilities and their families, doing so by providing safe environments and services for children and family members to play, relax, learn and feel supported.   

Over a 3-week period, the team got out on the roads and in the water, to get the miles in and £ raised. We are delighted to say that we managed to smash our target of £500 and raise £617 (£718 incl. giftaid) for Swings & Smiles! We are so grateful and wish to thank each and every person who donated. Your contribution helps to make a huge difference to the beneficiaries of Swings & Smiles! 

Vissensa at the Hampshire Business Show

On Thursday 24th October the Vissensa Team descended upon the Utilita Bowl in Southampton to meet other local business at the Hampshire Business Show.

Thank you all who came and said hello and had fun playing the Vault game on our stand. Special congratulations to those who managed to complete all the levels on what was a deceptively tricky game! The event also provided a great opportunity for us to meet with local businesses and get a deeper understanding of where they are at with their IT, the chance to offer knowledge and advice, as well as offer ways in which we can help improve their cybersecurity.

IT is not always at the forefront of people’s minds, but few businesses will argue in this day and age that having a robust, scalable and efficient infrastructure is crucial for the growth of any modern-day business. The truth is many organisations lack the knowledge and expertise to manage their IT effectively and within budget.

New Starters

We are very happy to welcome two new starters to the business over the last couple of months. Firstly, Cindy has joined us as our SEO and Digital Marketing Specialist, bringing her expertise in driving online visibility and enhancing digital presence.

Joining her is Miguel, our new Field Engineer, who brings a wealth of hands-on experience and technical skills to our field operations. We are thrilled to continue expanding our team at Vissensa, keeping us at the forefront of the industry. 

A Look Forward

Looking forward, we are excited to announce a new partnership with Nottingham Rugby Club, supporting their network infrastructure, internet, and telephony services for the next three seasons.

Nottingham Rugby, one of England’s oldest rugby clubs, chose us to enhance secure connectivity across their club facilities, hospitality areas, and more, but this partnership goes beyond technology—aligning with Vissensa’s values of community, innovation, and long-term collaboration, we are excited to contribute to the club’s success on and off the pitch.
