Are free Anti-Virus software any good?

First and foremost, you never want to go without security protection on your computer. Free Anti-Virus has very low detection rates whilst paid for Anti-Virus Software gives you piece of mind for your business. At Vissensa we provide a range of Anti-Virus options and can also provide monthly pricing costs.

What exactly are Managed IT Services?

Simply put, Vissensa Managed IT Services means we take care of your entire IT requirement. We manage all your hardware and software sourcing, installation, technical support effectively becoming your IT department. It also means Vissensa acts as your go-to consultancy and support team. We help to provide scheduled maintenance if needed alongside upgrading systems and emergency assistance.

What is cloud backup?

Cloud backup is the process where your onsite backups are transferred to an offsite server every night. Clients can choose for this to be in either to Microsoft Azure or our UK data centres. If you don’t have backups currently why not speak to Vissensa to see how we can help.

What kind of response times can I expect?

We work with each client to establish specific expectations that they from a support service. Most of our clients use our Support Service inside UK Operating Hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm.

How Long is a Managed Services Contract For?

Managed IT Services Contracts vary by provider with a range of month-to-month contracts to multi-year contracts. Some have a very high startup costs and lower monthly for shorter contract. Others require a multi-year contract with less costs upfront.

Before any contract, most providers will need to understand how your IT works so an engineer is sent to site to produce a detailed report.

What should I do before I call for help?

When possible, write down any information about error messages and take screenshots of your issue.

Is the issue being faced by other members of staff or just your device?

Is the problem affecting connecting to the internet or any particular programs?

If the problem persists and you have a support contract then call your IT partner to discuss the issue.

What does having Managed IT Services cost?

Our service model uses a fixed monthly fee, which is based on the size and complexity of your particular network. Once contracted, your Managed IT Services will cover maintenance and support for every component of your network. This provides you with peace of mind and the ability to accurately forecast your IT maintenance costs.

What if we already have an internal IT department?

Vissensa work with customers who have IT departments hence why we offer scalable solutions that can be tailored to meet specific needs.

How does a fixed cost billing save me money?
