The Moscow Exchange selected Equinix as its preferred data centre provider for the expansion of its London operation. This was dovetailed into Vissensa being its managed service provider as it did not want to continually incur the cost of sending staff to London to maintain the platform.
In addition, their reliance on systems that were 100% available was a key business requirement and having local trained support with the ability to react quickly to an incident was crucial.
Commercially the project was built around an OPEX model and therefore, the Exchange needed to find a partner that could source, finance, implement, support and maintain the platform on a 24/7 100% uptime SLA.
Equinix and Vissensa’s combined capabilities were able to offer a seamless, fully integrated and resilient service of supply, management and maintenance of its London equipment.
